Children's eyes were twinkling, but something was amiss.
Santa's sleigh was stuck that day... grounded by the TSA.
So, it's raise the sails, anchors away with Pirate Santa Karl they say.

'twas the night before, the night before, when ne'er a reindeer flew,
and Karl's ship took to the skies with his all elven crew.
In the hold were toys untold with just a touch of magic gold...
All seven seas and skies patrolled, or so the tale has oft' been told.
